Purchases under the Third-Party Trading Facility
PetroLatina (AIM: PELE), the independent oil and gas exploration, development and production company focused on Latin America, announces that it was today notified that further to the establishment of the Third-Party Trading Facility operated by Optiva Securities Limited on behalf of Tribeca Oil & Gas Inc (“TOGI”) and Rorick Ventures Group Inc (“Rorick”), as announced on 16 February 2012, TOGI has, on 15 March 2012, purchased a total of 276,617 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”) and Rorick has purchased on the same date a total of 135,383 Ordinary Shares, all at a price of 19.5 pence per Ordinary Share.
Following the abovementioned purchases: (i) the Tribeca Group is now collectively interested, in aggregate, in 82,229,811 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 67.61 per cent. of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital, and (ii) the JCR Group is now collectively interested, in aggregate, in 15,867,042 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 13.05 per cent. of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital. Accordingly, the Tribeca Group and the JCR Group now collectively represent, in aggregate, approximately 80.66 per cent. of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital. In addition, the Tribeca Group holds warrants over a further 32,308 Ordinary Shares and options over 850,000 Ordinary Shares, and the JCR Group holds options over a further 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares.
