PetroLatina (AIM: PELE), the oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Colombia, with additional interests in Guatemala, received notification on 23 July 2008 from Macquarie Group Limited that as at 21 July 2008 Macquarie Bank Limited is interested in 1,494,817 ordinary shares of US$0.50 each in the Company, representing approximately 3.41 per cent. of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital.
